Course Curriculum
Morris, Manning & Martin will present a three-part series to explore the significant changes made to the Stark Law and Anti-kickback law. CMS and OIG have embarked on a multi-year goal to make changes to both laws that will aim to promote value-based care and to reduce what may be seen as regulatory barriers to cooperation between different provider types. CMS and OIG have also made significant changes to the fundamentals of the Stark and Anti-kickback laws that will change how we understand these laws.

In this second session, participants will receive information on the changes to the fundamental changes to the Anti-Kickback Statute and Civil Monetary Penalties Law should come away from the webinar understanding how AKS/CMP fundamentals have changed and been updated. More importantly, participants should come away understanding how these changes affect existing and future relationships between healthcare providers, physicians, vendors, and their relationships.
