Health care workers are safety-sensitive workers, and their wellbeing has an impact on the lives of others. This webinar will explore how physicians have had remarkable success in managing substance-related disorders and other mental health issues through Physician Health Programs (PHPs) such as the Georgia PHP. We will discuss how the Georgia PHP works with hospitals and health care systems to improve the health of all Georgians. Comp. R. & Regs. 393-13-.02, (1) (a). Approved for 1 contact hour. By attending Addiction among Physicians and Physician Health Programs offered by Georgia Hospital Association, participants may earn up to 1ACHE Qualifying Education Hour toward initial certification or recertification of the Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives (FACHE) designation.
