The CMS Hospital Infection Control Worksheet and Proposed Changes and Antibiotic Stewardship Program (T6048)

May 29, 2019 (10am – Noon)
Sue Dill Calloway President Patient Safety and Health Care Education and Consulting

The price for the webinar is $295 per phone line.

Infection control is hit hard during a hospital survey, so every facility should have a full-working familiarity with the CMS interpretive guidelines, as well as the proposed changes for assessing compliance with the infection control Conditions of Participation (CoPs). This presentation will explain what hospital personnel need to do to be ready for surveyors, and will provide them with a better understanding of the CMS infection control interpretative guidelines and worksheet. This program will also discuss the proposed infection control standards and changes, including the requirement to have an antibiotic stewardship program. Our presenter will also review important memos on infection control issues from CMS, ISMP IV guidelines and safe injection practices issues as well as other facets of this worksheet.
