This includes critical access hospitals. During PART II of our program, our speaker will discuss the recent changes by the Office of Inspector General (OIG) which will impact on-call physicians, as well as recent OIG investigations. Sue will focus on EMTALA issues including payment issues, patient financial questions, the required policies and procedures, hospital recommendations, information regarding a dedicated emergency department and using a central log.
