Hospitals must also comply with The Patient Self Determination Act, which requires hospitals to inform patients of their rights under state law regarding medical care decisions. Additionally, it has been shown that better end-of-life care can reduce readmissions. This webinar will discuss the CMS hospital Conditions of Participation (CoPs) on advance directives to help hospitals ensure compliance.
