This live, virtual, and interactive training is made possible for hospitals eligible for the Small Rural Hospital Improvement (SHIP) grant. At the conclusion of the training and individual project, you will have obtained a Green Belt Certification in Lean Six Sigma! This program requires a firm time commitment from each participant, but the skills gained will be impactful for years to come. Over the course of the training, participants will:

•    Acquire the ability to drive measurable improvements in patient care, safety, and cost efficiency.
•    Apply tools directly to your hospital environment with real projects that have a real impact.
•    Gain a respected Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) Green Belt Certification that is recognized worldwide.
•    Learn from healthcare experienced Lean Six Sigma experts.
•    Connect with peers across the Georgia Hospital Association network.

Tools to identify and fix root causes of challenges as well as examples and templates designed for healthcare will be provided to all participants. As a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, you will be equipped to support and champion Lean Six Sigma implementation in your organization.  To earn the Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certificate, you must pass the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE) Lean Six Sigma Green Gelt exam.
