This one-day program will provide valuable information for individuals who are responsible for creating effective Environment of Care, Emergency Management and Life Safety programs and must understand the 2020 Joint Commission and CMS survey methodology and expectations. Compliance strategies will be discussed to assist in meeting and complying with the most difficult Physical Environment standards.
The program will be structured so that the attendees will be able to implement a practical, continuously compliant program in healthcare facilities and achieve maximum performance while effectively preparing for unscheduled Joint Commission and CMS surveys. Attendees will also receive specific guidance on how to understand and interpret the most serious “Top Ten” deficiencies. Practical examples will include an explanation of “best practices” that will help to move your program to the top and guarantee success.
Handout materials will include the most current scoring sheets and Joint Commission survey checklists, as well as forms, worksheets and sample policies that can be easily adapted to your program. Sufficient time will be provided during each section for questions and discussion.
The cost of this program is $245.00 per person. Register online by October 2, 2019 to avoid late fees. Space is limited.
