Course Curriculum: During the final part of this series our speaker will review the emergency preparedness conditions of participation (CoPs), discuss how to be in compliance with federal, state and local laws related to the health and safety of patients and share information regarding clinical records changes and revisions. For the emergency preparedness portion of the webinar, the presenter will share how participants can make sure staff and patients are prepared and safe during times of emergency and disaster. She will provide participants a real understanding of, not only what needs to be done, but what needs to be documented in order to comply with emergency preparedness conditions of participation (CoPs). Next, the speaker will review the primary revision of labs and CLIA waivers for compliance laws and regulations. Finally, she will discuss the importance of timing all document in clinical records.
