1. Freedom of Expression On and Off Duty: Employer and Employee Rights
Participants will explore the effects of potentially controversial political and social messaging employees may engage in, whether interacting at work or after hours via social media. What limits can be placed on such employee communication? Can employees be held accountable for off-duty conduct? What restrictions can be placed on employees who display political and social messages on their masks, shirts, or other articles of clothing?
